Claire teaches hatha yoga and meditation – the physical aspect of yoga can be uniquely designed around your lifestyle and requirements whilst the gentle art of meditation and breathwork can help to calm and focus the mind.
Claire’s background is in sports and athletic training. Having spent many years doing track events she turned to the more rigourous routine of yoga for rehabilitation purposes. She started her practice of yoga in 1998 and was instantly drawn to the unending range of postures. Since then she has explored and refined her knowledge and understanding of yoga and its life philosophy. Qualified to teach Hatha Yoga with Sun Power Yoga School and a member of the British Wheel of Yoga since 2006. SunPower Yoga draws on various traditions including Iyengar for alignment, Ashtanga for stamina, and Sivananda for the subtle mind and breath work.
Yoga has no boundaries inviting all ages and abilities – Yoga has proven itself for more than 2000 years as a safe, effective and intelligent exercise for the body and mind.
Claire teaches on a 1-to-1 basis or small groups – allowing for more indepth training and personalised tuition. Held at Fitshape Studios, Muswell Hill and Highgate.
